Hello to all intellectuals, casual stalkers, and seasoned-internet-rabbit-hole-ers who stumbled upon this page. I'm Adiva Mittal, and this is where I cover how the Sacramento Region and broader international community can (and does!) develop self-sustaining urban systems through policy. Expect everything!-- from interviews with deeply interesting people to long-form essays.

• Utopias. As a pragmatist, if your urban planning solution requires perfect human behavior and infinite money, please humor somebody else.

When I'm not busy writing, I'll be listening to Fareed Zakaria's new GPS episode, planning out my 20s Anthony-Bourdain-style, rewatching my comfort movies for the zillionth time (cue Mona Lisa Smile...), or dining out with my loved ones.
